The Center for Unity – USA Promotional Tour

Gabriel Rymberg

Gabriel Rymberg, pictured above, will be traveling in the USA during March and April for a one-month fundraising drive and "good will" promotional tour for the Center for Unity. Rick Lyon organized the itinerary which includes stops along the west coast, the southwest, and the southeastern United States.

In an effort to save and share expenses, many friends have stepped forward to offer their hospitality by hosting Gabriel in their homes and by organizing in-person opportunities for others to attend Gabriel's presentations about the 25-year vision, and the current work being done on the Center for Unity projects: the Jesus Museum, the Jesus Metaverse, Cinematic Jesus, and the Jesus Experience.

We are confident that this promotional tour and meeting together in-person will make for lots of fun and a great exchange for everyone attending these events. If you would like more details about the events near you, contact Rick Lyon by email at: rick.lyon@thecenterforunity.org or call: 765-366-7203 to be connected to one of our generous hosts.

The following cities will be Gabriel's stops along the way on this tour, with the names of the persons hosting the activities in each location listed:

  • Los Angeles (Mar 26-30)  – hosted by Ben Bowler.
  • Portland/Seattle (Mar 31-April 4)  – hosted by Marjorie Ray and Joel Garbon.
  • Boulder (Apr 5-9) – hosted by Derek Samaras, Paula Thompson and Andre Radatus.
  • Santa Fe (Apr 10-12) – hosted by Katharina Becker
  • Dallas (Apr 13-14) – hosted by Martha Pingel
  • San Antonio (Apr 15-16) – hosted by Katrina Glaven-Heise
  • New Orleans (Apr 17-20) – hosted by Kerri Blache and Diana Cantin
  • Charlotte (April 21-23) – hosted by Doug & Betty Lou Cable and Markel & Valerie Whisonant

These are very important event for our projects, and critical to our success. Fundraising is the fuel that drives the engine of progress no matter what the project may be. Gabriel will raise awareness by explaining the need for talent and treasure to continue our mission.

We use a 3-legged stool to illustrate the importance of donors. One leg represents the dreamers, planners, and managers. Another leg represents those who build things to make the dreams and plans happen – our volunteers and contract personnel; and the third leg represents those who provide the funding to pay for all of the programmers, developers, lawyers, leases, and production facilities. Without all three legs, we know the stool will tumble over. Please do not underestimate the importance of what your contribution might be, or how much we appreciate you.

As developer work continues on the Jesus Metaverse app, our existing funds are running low. The Jesus Museum has also recently taken a major step forward, and the Cinematic Jesus team will be meeting in New Orleans during Gabriel's tour. We foresee needing much more funding for all 3 projects in the immediate future.

Thankfully we were able to purchase airline tickets for Gabriel at bargain rates, and we have found that his personal visits always generate great interest and financial support when he shares the details and progress being made on each of the projects with others. Please be a part of this unprecedented and continuing effort. We would like to engage as many as possible from the associations, societies, and study groups to partner with us. You will enjoy meeting our charming Gabriel, and it is our hope that the Urantia community will unite with our team, like never before, to make these wonderful, exciting, and important projects a reality. Let's shift gears and go forth bravely doing what pleases our Father!

Someday religionists will get together and actually effect cooperation on the basis of unity of ideals and purposes rather than attempting to do so on the basis of psychological opinions and theological beliefs. Goals rather than creeds should unify religionists. 99:5.7 The Urantia Book

Thank you all for your amazing support thus far. Making a monthly donation will help us plan better to fund the next phases of each project.
