Dear CFU Community,
Greetings from the northeastern U.S. where lately our land to the north has left teasing traces of itself in glistening, frosty sunrises. As we head into the so-called, dark days, we become less active and have more time to think. My thinking has been about how I can be more like my Creator by placing emphasis on the concept of responsibility.
It's interesting that we see "responsibility" described throughout the Revelation, and quite early on in Paper 2, which shares the commitment to teach humans the importance of "moral responsibility."
Paper 2 – The Nature of God
2:2.7 (36.5) Human limitations, potential evil, are not a part of the divine nature, but mortal experience with evil and all man's relations thereto are most certainly a part of God's ever-expanding self-realization in the children of time – creatures of moral responsibility who have been created or evolved by every Creator Son going out from Paradise. [emphasis mine]
Here's how seriously the Eternal Son takes the subject of its own responsibility.
Paper 6 – The Eternal Son
6:2.4 (75.1) The Son shares the Father's perfection and jointly shares the responsibility of aiding all creatures of imperfection in their spiritual efforts to attain perfection. [emphasis mine]
Since our creators take the concept of responsibility seriously and early in the Revelation, I think the dark days are a perfect time to remind ourselves. What is our duty to others? What is our duty to ourselves? What is our duty to God?
Here at The Center For Unity, we take on the mantle of responsibility in many ways. A quick trip to the website to view the project list offers convincing evidence of the CFU's desire to reach and teach as many people as possible about the Revelation. The executive team meets weekly to talk about that very thing, and we ask – How can we expand our reach? What more can we do to support our community?
Here are several projects we are working in "full court press" mode:
Spiritual Translations (SPT): "Removing the language barrier from spiritual truth – one language at a time."
Uncle Joshua's Workshop: A kid-friendly digital playground for ages 3-12 teaching Jesus' life through songs, stories, and games.
FreeWill: A partnership offering the opportunity to create a personal Will at no cost for those wishing to donate or bequeath to The Center For Unity.
The next Ask Me Anything (AMA) meeting on Saturday, October 24, at 1:30 PM ET, will give you updates and stirring news on each project. The meeting offers you a chance to ask questions of team leaders. We hope you take advantage of the opportunity. It helps us a great deal when you share the above links with friends and family.
We hope to see you soon. Meanwhile, let us enjoy each and every day God gives us.
With Sincere Blessings,
Judi Valentine, Market Support
