Having a booth is a bit expensive but we were able to share our efforts with about 20,000 truth-seekers from all over the world.
Our fundraising efforts for July included reaching out by personal email to many of our Urantia family and friends. Our goal of 500 people donating $25 a month or more reached 50 this month.
The most urgent need is to fund the contractors hired to work on the Discover Jesus app. They have been generous with their time and patient with their billing. The results are proving the wisdom of using paid professionals to create this important tool for advancing this revelation with young people. We want to have a nearly complete prototype ready to demonstrate for the Parliament of World Religions with the goal of releasing a complete ready-to-use version to the public before the end of this year. The current version has grown to over 100 interconnected entries. It is making a positive impression upon all those testing it for us before the release to the public. We need to raise the funds necessary to push this project over the finish line. We are very close. If you can help with this, please visit: https://www.thecenterforunity.org/contribute
When you receive this newsletter, Gabriel Rymberg will have visited several local Urantia groups in: Sarasota, FL; Tulsa, OK; Fort Wayne, IN; South Bend, IN; and Goshen, IN. We are most grateful to those who hosted his visits and presentations. We just finished hosting booth #518 at the Parliament of the World's Religions! We had live demonstrations of the Discover Jesus app and our experimental AskJesus chatbot.
Having a booth is a bit expensive but we were able to share our efforts with about 20,000 truth-seekers from all over the world, representing many beliefs at this event. We hoped to find many donors and end-users of our app and perhaps the large financial donors we need for Cinematic Jesus and The Jesus
Museum Experience.
Our museum design team finished the donor kit that was a compelling narrative we presented to the attendees at Parliament, and to those who may be able to fund our musuem experience project.
By now, all three Templeton Foundation grant applications have been submitted. Please pray persistently that our applications get approved for the second round of consideration in October.
We will be introducing our new peer-to-peer fundraising project after we finalize the plan for this. We think this will be a fun way for you to help fund our projects and find some personal ownership of our success too. Never fail to recognize that you are a very important part of the Center for Unity team. First pray, then share, and then, only if comfortable, please donate.
