“While ‘it does not yet appear what you shall be,’ even now ‘you are the faith sons of God’; ‘for you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the spirit of sonship, whereby you cry, “our Father.”’” 40:6.2 (448.1)
“It does not yet appear what you shall be”—the fullness of your destiny, the luminosity of your future self, the unimaginable height of your spiritual growth. You cannot yet see it. Others cannot yet see it. Even the world around you cannot interpret what divinity is quietly sculpting within you.
But your identity is not postponed until perfection. Even now, you are a faith son of God. Even now, you stand in the dignity of spiritual lineage. Even now, the deepest truth running through your being is not fear, not limitation, not uncertainty—but sonship, the inner cry of a soul that knows its Source: “Our Father.”
This is the revolution of revelation. You are not evolving toward acceptance—you are evolving from acceptance. You are not striving to earn belonging—you are learning to live the belonging you already possess. Fear dissolves before this truth because fear cannot coexist with sonship.
Let this remind you:
You are not defined by what you have yet to become.
You are defined by Whose you already are.
From that identity, growth is not a burden—it is a natural unfolding.
From that identity, destiny is not a question—it is a promise.
From that identity, your future is not uncertain—it is radiant.
