We are taking the necessary steps today to make this a reality tomorrow; and you can say "I helped build that."

The Jesus Experience – Update

By Rick Lyon

Many of you have asked how the war in Israel will affect our project: The Jesus Experience.

Acting upon the advice of our legal team in Israel, we have begun the process of creating a separate not-for-profit organization for The Jesus Experience. We have received the Articles of Incorporation and are expecting to receive our EIN and tax exempt status shortly.

Eventually, this project will require the design and construction to build it and then require hiring staff and employees and all the other resources and expenses to operate and maintain an international venue visited by thousands of people from many faiths each year.

We are taking the necessary steps today to make this a reality tomorrow; and you can say "I helped build that." We are creating an inter-faith, (I prefer the term "multi-faith") team to help us develop the presentation of the historic Jesus and how he changed the world. With their help, we can bring the life and teachings of Jesus to the greatest number of people in the heart of where it is needed the most and the place where Jesus chose to experience it. This is the place where we all want to go to walk in the footsteps of the Master.

Update from the Holy Land

By Gabriel Rymberg

The last few months have been very challenging for the inhabitants of Israel, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip. The horrific attack by Hamas took the mighty IDF by surprise and shocked the entire population of Israel (Jews and non-Jews alike).

We are still in shock. Many of my Jewish brothers and sisters are feeling anger, hurt, humiliation, and fear and are seeking revenge. I feel the same and know that "an eye for an eye" will lead us nowhere, fast. At the same time, what is the path forward for the inhabitants of the Holy Land?

My prayer is that this bag of lemons will turn into lemonade. That 1000-fold more good comes out of these evil doings by all involved, and that peace will eventually find its way into our hearts and relations.

I know this is a tall order. I also understand that if I lose hope, I am doomed. So, I cling to hope and pray that elder sisters and brothers will find a way to help us imperfect humans evolve toward a better world.

Sandra and I are committed to continuing to do the work for CFU. There is a lot to do, and we are at it.

Pray for all of us!

Also...

Let us continue to pray for all of our CFU team in Israel and all the families who have lost loved ones in this conflict. Our attorneys for the Jesus Experience in Israel are Nir Kimhi and Calev Myers. They are involved with bringing the families of Israeli hostages to Washington D.C. having met with the Speaker of the House and other political leaders as well as 50 of the top news agencies.

Calev and Nir say that they do not want the world to forget that there are still hostages somewhere in Gaza. They are also very involved in the hostage negotiations. Please keep them in your prayers, both personally and for the success of their efforts to bring the hostages home safely. Here is their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/fozmuseum
