SpiritualTranslations.com— SPT — is a project dedicated to removing the language barrier for the revelation. It uses modern AI, paired with expert human reviewers, to translate secondary religious and spiritual works at a fraction of the traditional cost and timeline.
Not a demo. Not a pitch. A pipeline running right now, on real text, with real linguists checking every step. We're focused on two milestones.
The first is DiscoverTheUB.com, translated into Portuguese. It's a living introduction to the Urantia revelation — 591 documents, over a million words, written across three reading levels. Translating it used to be the kind of project a publisher wouldn't attempt. Too long. Too technical. Too expensive.
Fraser, our developer, spent the better part of a year building the pipeline that's now translating it. Eighteen stages. 865 passing tests. A 3,322-term Portuguese glossary, validated term by term by Carlos — a Brazilian Urantia reader and professional linguist who serves as our gold standard reviewer.
The first block of this work was funded by a $10,000 donation. The work is underway.
The second is DiscoverTheUB.com, translated into Spanish. Same pipeline. Same model. The linguist on this work is Lourdes — a Spanish-speaking Urantia reader and professional translator. She's producing the Spanish gold standards now: four papers translated by hand, from scratch, to the publication quality the pipeline must meet. Once that human calibration is complete, the machine translates the rest.
We expect clear quality data in the coming weeks. If it works — and the early evidence says it will — the next translation won't take a decade. It will take months. And then weeks.
And the ecosystem around the revelation — for Portuguese readers first, then Spanish, then more — finally begins to exist.
