Taking the Kingdom by Living Faith

March 8, 2026 | Santiago Kneeland

The kingdom of heaven is for those who actively choose faith, courage, and trust – it's a path that requires persistence and determination, but it's open to everyone, everywhere 😊.

Taking the Kingdom by Living Faith

“They who shall thus take the kingdom in spiritual power and by the persistent assaults of living faith will come from the north and the south and from the east and the west.” Jesus, 166:3.5 (1829.2)

The kingdom of heaven is not inherited passively; it is embraced with intention. To “take the kingdom in spiritual power” is not an act of aggression, but of courageous faith. It is the decision to live as though divine realities are true — even when circumstances suggest otherwise. Such faith is persistent. It returns after doubt. It rises after failure. It presses forward not with force, but with trust.

The phrase “persistent assaults of living faith” speaks to spiritual determination. Growth does not happen by accident. The soul must repeatedly choose higher vision over lower impulse, hope over fear, love over resentment. Each decision becomes a quiet victory. Each act of trust deepens spiritual power.

And this path is universal. Those who enter the kingdom come “from the north and the south and from the east and the west.” No geography, culture, or background limits access to spiritual reality. Living faith transcends boundaries. It calls every individual, everywhere, into the same transformative experience — a life anchored in divine relationship.
