From time to time we like to feature the ministry efforts of friends who support The Center For Unity. This month we would like to introduce our dear friend who is also a member of the CFU team to our readers. We think you will be interested in Diane's many ministry efforts!
For instance, you will have noticed Diane's name earlier in the newsletter in connection with The First Global Urantia Book Daily Reading Project launched this week, but there is much, much more to share!
Diane is currently working as Public Relations representative for The Center For Unity Cinematic Jesus project, but she has served as an advisor to Gabriel since the beginning of the CFU vision that was born during a Tour of the Holy Land back in 2014. My husband Rick and several others who are involved with CFU were guests on that tour of Israel and many friendships were forged with Gabriel at that time. Diane led tours for several years until Covid required a pause in the schedule.
Diane relates her experience with The Urantia Book in this way:
"After a visitation of Jesus on December 14, 1990 as I was in my house located on the south shore of Montreal, I received The Urantia Book as a gift from a man named Marcel Pellerin on March 14, 1991, who told me that he was involved in the preparation of The Urantia Book Fellowship's IC'93 Conference, after which he invited me to be a keynote speaker at the conference, which I accepted. That's how I embarked on my new phase of loving service with and for Jesus for humanity with The Urantia Book Revelation."
"Gabriel Rymberg, who is the founder and visionary of The Center For Unity asked me on June 12, 2024 if I would join his team to be in charge of PR for the Cinematic Jesus project to which I answered yes with great joy. Once the launch is made, we are all confident that it will attract many souls to this new and innovative project, revealing yet unknown aspects of Jesus' teachings on Urantia, i.e. the women that Jesus chose which became known as the "women's corps."
After Diane's appearance in 1993 at the UBF International Conference, she participated at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Chicago the same year. In 2009 Diane formed The United Urantia Family, and hosted an Easter Spirit Renewal Retreat in 2011 and the United Urantia Family Festival in Yosemite, CA in 2013.
Diane hosted a booth at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2015 and she has presented at various conferences in Canada, USA, Europe, and Israel.
For several years Diane partnered with Brother Josh Wilson in establishing the wonderful new tradition of the Jubilee of Jubilees, which she still continues to host to this day.
Diane has also been a guest on several podcasts, including Cosmic Citizen on Blog Talk Radio, The Spirit of Truth podcast with Derek Samaras, Urantia Radio podcast with Jim Watkins, and "Urantia Book" with Nick Curto.
