Remembrance Supper Global Event 2025

On Sunday, April 6th, 2025 – Zshonette Reed and Don Clementin of The Christ Experiment, in partnership with The Center For Unity, hosted a "Remembrance Supper" at sundown via a global live Zoom event from Israel. The plan for this event is to be an annual tradition held on the actual date of the Last Supper. Gabriel Rymberg created a beautiful website for the event to express the purpose and meaning of this tradition...

On the website were instructions and an invitation for everyone to not only attend our global online event, but encouraged them to host their own event in their home or online. The suggestion was that everyone should have their own personal remembrance celebration tradition and preferably enjoy it with family and friends at sundown in their local time zone. Our remembrance began at 7:07 p.m. Jerusalem time.

Several of us indicated that we would be hosting or participating in some form of remembrance later that day. We encourage all who participated in the global event or hosted their own local events to share the experience with details and pictures–by visiting our permanent Remembrance Supper website so that others will be inspired to participate next year. The countdown has already begun. Only 350 days to go!

As with all our events, we began with a lovely prayer led by Sandra Rymberg. Be sure to watch the video prayer and meditation featuring Sandra in each monthly newsletter.

Marjorie "Margie" Ray, who serves on our CFU grants team, welcomed the guests and hosted the meeting. Zshonette and Don then offered a short presentation about the personal request from Jesus himself – that we should remember him in this way. What a truly human and loving desire to ask us to remember him. Don then led us in a meaningful communion remembrance experience.

Following this, Lisa Crawford, our marketing lead person, invited our guests to share what Jesus means to them and many offered their experiences with this revelation of his life and teachings. This was a beautiful and touching expression of how our lives have been changed and benefited by the life of Jesus.

This year’s event was attended by well over 60 people. Please plan to join us again next year on April 6th, 2026 as we continue this annual tradition for the Urantia community and beyond.

Our remembrance supper event was a great success and the latest CFU merchandise item – a Remembrance Supper T-Shirt – is a shirt you can order from Amazon.com to remember this important event each year and to share the actual date of the Last Supper with the world. The shirt is unisex and very comfortable.
