“The morality of the religions of evolution drives men forward in the God quest by the motive power of fear. The religions of revelation allure men to seek for a God of love because they crave to become like him." 5:4.1 (66.5)
Evolutionary religion often begins with fear.
Fear of the unknown.
Fear of punishment.
Fear of what happens when we step outside the tribe’s rules.
Fear can push a person toward God…
but it can never transform them.
Revelation introduces a different gravity.
It doesn’t frighten you into seeking God—
it allures you.
It awakens longing, not anxiety.
It whispers, “Come higher—not because you must, but because you were made for this.”
When we encounter a God of love, everything changes:
We stop running from consequences
and start running toward resemblance.Obedience shifts from survival
to sovereignty.Spirituality stops being a duty
and becomes an identity.
Love is the only force strong enough to make a soul desire to become like God—freely, joyfully, wholeheartedly.
Fear may move your feet.
But only love moves your being.
