“In the coming kingdom, be not mindful of those things which foster your anxiety but rather at all times concern yourselves only with doing the will of the Father who is in heaven.” Jesus, 137:1.6 (1525.3)
Anxiety thrives in the soil of self-importance — in the restless urge to control outcomes, secure approval, and predict tomorrow. But in the coming kingdom — the realm of divine trust — the soul is invited to a new posture: concern yourself only with doing the will of the Father. This is not escape from responsibility, but liberation from the tyranny of worry.
When our focus shifts from results to alignment, peace replaces pressure. The Father’s will is not a list of demands; it’s the quiet current of love, purpose, and truth flowing through every situation. To live in that current is to rise above the storms of “what if” and rest in the certainty of divine companionship. Faith does not eliminate uncertainty — it transforms how we carry it.
In the kingdom, freedom comes not by controlling life but by trusting the One who governs all life. To do His will is to breathe in rhythm with the universe itself.
