Discover Jesus – Update

The Discover Jesus website continues to grow as we document Jesus' life and teachings from The Urantia Book. Our growth includes adding new articles from our volunteer writers and images from Gary Tonge to improve the desktop and mobile reader experience.

A Short Time To Completion!

We are now within reach of our goal of 500+ total essays on the DiscoverJesus.com site! Ultimately, we expect to have essays on approximately 100 People, 250 Events, 50 Locations, and 100 Topics. We may exceed this number as we draw closer, but the exciting news is that our target for completion is the end of this calendar year – just a little over three months from now!

We will continue to add site features that enhance the visitor experience during the next three months, as well. This includes launching underlined essay previews in the articles for mobile devices, speeding up search results when using the search toolbar, and adding "previous" and "next" links in the Event essays to allow for easier sequential progression through the events surrounding Jesus' life on our world.

Content Development Progress

Our content continues to grow. There are now 415 published essays with profile images on the Discover Jesus website (an increase of 31 essays over the past month). While we won't provide a full list here, you can check the banner on the homepage of www.discoverjesus.com, which highlights the number of essays added in the past two weeks and links to a page showcasing each of them.

New Languages

Completing the Discover Jesus site mentioned so far has been in relation to our English-language version of the site. However, we have already kicked off our translation of the site into Spanish, which we hope to release by the end of this year. More languages will quickly follow as we leverage the amazing work of our writers and the use of AI to help us in the language translation process.

We are just beginning to bring this Wikipedia-style version of The Urantia Book to the world, allowing us to make the site accessible to many more readers and truth-seekers. Let's continue to facilitate the discovery of Jesus' life and teachings before Christianity and with no religious attachments!
