We are pleased to announce and share the trailer for our first cinematic production “Divine Within; Equal, Mary Magdalene and the 12 Women Evangels.”
This is the beginning of the most anticipated project of The Center For Unity. After many years of conceptualizing a cinematic endeavor, that would take the stories from The Urantia Book to the big and small screen, we can finally say that the first step in a long journey has been taken.
We are now in the process of presenting this trailer to donors and investors that can help us bridge the production costs of making a streaming series. This project centers on the story of Mary Magdalene and the Women’s Evangelistic Corps, especially on how Jesus viewed women and men as spiritually equal.
"Equal" is the story of a 21st century researcher “Sarah,” who is uncovering information that reveals Jesus’ historic “emancipation proclamation” of the spirit of women, as well as what the Women's Corps did during his ministry. It promises to be a mystery/drama that will reveal the struggle of women for spiritual equality in the 1st century, as well as what they face in the present time.
This is the first production of what we believe to be the most ambitious project that seeks to present the stories and teachings of The Urantia Book to the world. A groundbreaking series exploring the untold story of women's spiritual leadership across time and tradition.
Through this medium, we will be able to reach younger audiences through rich, meaningful and powerful stories that will move them, and hopefully help them foster their personal relationship with God. The project will launch us into the film industry, where we will be able to bring the revelation to whomever is ready to receive it.
