CFU Teamwork! Celebrating 4 Years Together
CFU 4th Anniversary Celebration: By the time the December newsletter reaches our audience, the CFU team will have celebrated our 4th anniversary of service. This is the time we come together annually to celebrate our team achievements and show appreciation for each other. Many have had a long history of involvement with the Urantia community and we have never seen more dedicated servants, more interesting projects, more lofty goals, or more astounding results – truly an example of how spiritual power is multiplied when kindred spirits work together.
Invitation to Attend Ask Me Anything: Each month when we come together for the AMA Zoom meeting (which is always streamed live from Israel on 4th Saturdays), it is an opportunity for all team members to choose to attend, to contribute, to get to know each other better, and to feel "present" with one another. This is very important since we're an international group and much of our daily work is done alone.
It is from Israel that our visionary leader–Gabriel Rymberg–and his wife Sandra (our worship leader), are the anchors at The Center For Unity. The nucleus of active team members changes with the projects that are underway at any given time. Team members help with a project, then wait until another task comes along that they feel qualified to help with or skilled to lead. There is always an ebb and flow of interesting and dedicated workers and advisors surrounding the core executive team of CFU: Gabriel Rymberg, Rick Lyon, and Santiago Kneeland, who give so much of their time to see our dreams realized.
The AMA also gives us a chance to meet with individuals who are very interested in what we are doing and who usually want to be involved in some way. It also provides each CFU team member the opportunity to ask questions and to know what other team members are working on in greater detail.
Sometimes it will intrigue team members to be involved in ways they weren't involved before, or provide the cross-fertilization of ideas that create new ways to serve, improve methods that save time and money, or make our work more efficient. Personally, it has been a very enlightening and encouraging experience for me to hear the latest developments each month! I would encourage all team members and anyone who is interested to attend.
