Fundraising is a difficult task but absolutely critical to the accomplishment of all worthy goals and projects, including spiritual projects. How many wonderful efforts have gone unfulfilled due to lack of funding? My goal as fundraising leader is to make sure we secure the funding to keep our current service projects going and growing and continuing to address the spiritual progress of the people of Urantia. As our efforts and audience grows, so do our expenses to accomplish these goals and fuel our efforts.

2025 was a difficult year for fundraising for all nonprofit organizations. But, CFU was blessed to have the financial support of all of you to keep our bills paid, maintain current services, and begin a couple of new unique and exciting projects. In 2026, our January was the best January so far concerning fundraising. Likewise, so was February and March. April is already our best month of April in our four plus years of service. THANK YOU! to all who are making this happen.

There is a great difference between wealth which leads to covetousness and selfishness and that which is held and dispensed in the spirit of stewardship by those who have an abundance of this world’s goods, and who so bountifully contribute to the support of those who devote all their energies to the work of the kingdom. 165:4.5

Some Day – Some day a reformation in the Christian church may strike deep enough to get back to the unadulterated religious teachings of Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. 196:2.1

How can we make "some day" today? Let us suggest a simple task: when you attend church or the religious service of your choice this weekend, simply ask the service leader and your friends there: "Have you seen this new website, DiscoverJesus.com?" That is all you need to say. If they go and Discover Jesus there, they will get their first passive introduction to the teachings of The Urantia Book. You can let the angels take it from there.

Today In Urantia History – About six o’clock Friday morning, April 21, the morontia Master made his thirteenth appearance, the first in Galilee, to the ten apostles as their boat drew near the shore close to the usual landing place at Bethsaida. 192:1.1 (2045.6)

QUESTION: As we prepare to attend Urantia Foundation's leadership roundtable, what does The Urantia Book say about leadership that may be important to this event?

RESPONSE: Leadership, as illuminated in the teachings, is deeply rooted in principles of service, humility, and alignment with divine will. True leadership is not about domination or self-glorification but about serving others selflessly and fostering their growth. This is exemplified in the teachings of Jesus, who emphasized that "the greatest must be a minister to all," underscoring that spiritual leadership is defined by humility and the dedication to uplift others. Leaders are called to embody qualities such as fairness, courage, and a balanced demeanor, as seen in Jesus' own life, where he demonstrated firmness without obstinacy, mercy coupled with justice, and a calm yet engaged presence.

Effective leadership also involves fostering inclusivity and collaboration. The example of Adam and Eve, who were designed to serve in partnership, highlights the importance of mutual support and co-leadership in achieving higher goals. Their mission to uplift humanity was rooted in cooperation and the harmonious blending of their strengths, symbolizing the celestial ideal of balanced leadership. Similarly, the teachings suggest that leaders should prioritize the collective good, guiding their communities toward spiritual and moral progress while respecting individual autonomy and encouraging personal responsibility .

In preparation for the leadership roundtable, it is crucial to reflect on these principles. Leadership in this context should aim to inspire others by example, fostering an environment where divine values such as love, justice, and truth are actively promoted. The emphasis on service as the highest form of leadership invites participants to consider how their roles can contribute to the spiritual and social betterment of their communities. This perspective aligns leadership with the broader cosmic purpose, ensuring that it remains a force for unity, enlightenment, and progress.
