CFU Fundraising
At CFU, we are not vainly hoping for the future. We are creating it.
Our fundraising effort for this year continues to be strong. Other than the year we received the bequeath from Ted Blaney's estate, 2026 is our best year yet thanks to all of your love, prayers, support and donations.
Of course, the challenge is that as our efforts expand and our projects grow, so do our expenses. Everything we do is the result of everything you do to support and fund CFU.
We have refrained from directly asking for your help with funding thinking that if our projects are worthy of your support, the funding we need will come to us. But, to do big things, great things, the time has come to be more forthcoming with our appeal for financial support.
Some of the funds you provide us with are used to pay for the services of young talented people who do the work that we cannot do or that we cannot find volunteers to do. This is just another way that we are striving to get young people involved with this revelation. We are providing opportunities for them to serve but we need to be mindful that young people are busy making a living and supporting families.
Jarek is a young man who has been a big help to us, but he needed to have a bit of income to do so. We are paying him per hour for the work he does for us. A win-win in that we benefit from his time and talent in active service to this revelation, and he gets paid a bit to supplement his income and free time that he can spend serving the Urantia community. If we want more young people involved with this revelation, those who can afford to donate enable us to get young people like Jarek involved in doing the things we need done rather than him needing to find a second job or work overtime to support himself.
Now let me demonstrate the success and progress of our projects and services to show you the spiritual impact that your support is creating. Here are the numbers for our projects. "Users Served" is the number of people who have used one of our resources. "Views" are the number of times that someone on the internet has seen one of our projects (and seen the word "Urantia"). "Events" are the number of times that a user has done something significant while on one of our websites. These numbers are from our Google Analytics website. The months are how long the project has been available to the public.
Google Analytics has a new feature showing live in real time where a user is located. Here is a screen shot of this for DiscoverJesus.com that I just took today.
This is the result of your financial and prayerful support for the CFU team. We need your help to:
Translate many of our existing services into more and more languages.
Build our Spiritual Translations Service to translate the many complimentary secondary works of The Urantia Book to reach the billions of people who cannot speak English.
We need $100K to take the first real solid step forward in creating The Angelic Story of Jesus immersive experience.
We need to continue to fund the AI usage, the internet expense, and the normal business expenses of operating an active and growing nonprofit organization.
And more.
We have been so very blessed with many forms of support but at this time we need to ask you directly and openly for the necessary funds for our growth and continued service to God, this revelation, and the people of Urantia.
