CFU Fundraising 2023 July

The fundraising team is focusing on "friend-raising" because it is our relationships that build trust and ownership among those we need supporting our efforts. Nothing happens without donor support for our projects. Please include our donors, leadership, and teammates in your daily prayers and send worshipful thanks for all the resources and "talents" that have been provided to us so far. Inviting 500 second milers to create a monthly donation of $25 or more is still our primary fundraising project. This will build long term growth and sustainability for CFU.

Our next major events will be IC23 (the Fellowship International Conference) and the Parliament of World Religions where CFU will have a booth to show those we seek to serve all that we have created to further the fifth epochal revelation and strive to reach young people with the life and the love of Jesus. We urge you to support Urantia Book Fellowship by attending this important event in Chicago, July 24-28. In unity of community, we should support each other in all that we do. We are each a part of the whole of this revelation. So goes the part, so goes the whole.

Gabriel will be visiting groups in Santa Fe, NM; Sarasota, FL; Tulsa, OK; Fort Wayne, IN; and South Bend, IN between these two events. We truly appreciate those how are opening their homes to Gabriel and arranging a gathering of Urantia students to meet with him.

Lisa Crawford is working on implementing a new feature of our Bloomerang Donor Management software. This is called "Peer-to-Peer" fundraising. Current donors and supporters will be invited to create a fundraising effort of their own to support CFU. This is the ultimate of friend-raising as fundraising. We believe that this program will allow those who support our efforts to do so with more than just financial support, but actually take some ownership and responsibility for the success of all we do. Watch this space for more information as this program is finalized.
